Clear and mild, temps to drop over weekend

Friday will be sunny with temperatures rising to 35C in the interior, 33C on the south and east coasts, 31C on the remaining coasts, and 26C in the higher mountains. Winds will start off variable and light, up to 3 Beaufort, gradually turning mainly south- to north-westerly, up to moderate, 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough.

Overnight will be clear. Temperatures will drop to 21C in the interior and the coasts, and to 16C in the higher mountains.

Over the weekend the weather is expected to continue clear and mild with partial cloud cover moving in on Monday.

Temperatures will rise slightly through Saturday with a gradual decline expected in the following days.
