The first Disney Store in Southeast Asia has opened its doors at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City!
The magic of Disney shines bright inside Disney’s first official merch store in the country, which is open to the public starting Friday, September 27.
To celebrate the opening, the store is hosting a special meet and greet with Disney friends up close at the main mall atrium until Sunday, September 29. There’s no minimum spend required, but tickets are subject to availability. Food, drinks, strollers, and pets are not allowed inside the meet and greet area.
With various magical collectibles and unique apparel, the Disney Store is a one-stop wonderland for Disney lovers of all ages — you can get your hands on exclusive Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars merchandise.
Here’s a rundown of what to expect from your Disney shopping experience!
From Disney princesses to Marvel superheroes: A treasure trove of toys
Every unboxing is a sweet surprise! Each Disney Munchlings blind box (P949) holds a mystery toy for each customer. The adorable collectible plushies take your favorite Disney characters and reimagine them as snack-themed cuties. The Terrifying Treats collection consists of seven scented Halloween edition snacks, with one mystery character.
The adorable Disney Princess Dolls (P1,649) bring to squishy life beloved characters like Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Rapunzel, and more, clad in vibrant dresses and iconic accessories.
Your children can transform into royalty this Halloween with the store’s collection of Disney Princess dresses! Each dress is crafted with specific details, sparkling fabrics, and almost true-to-form designs that capture the essence of your favorite Disney princesses.
The Disney store has all the accessories you need for the perfect princess makeover — from dazzling tiaras to elegant shoes.
You can also take photos with the store’s life-sized statues. I spotted Elsa, Belle, Dumbo, Goofy, Spiderman, Darth Vader, and Mickey and Minnie Mouse!
The statue of Belle is placed inside her castle, which is also designed like a library!
Pop culture finds
There’s a wide array of official Star Wars merch, and even life-size models of Darth Vader and other characters that you can take pictures with.
And it’s not a Disney store without plushies! From Winnie the Pooh to the animal companions of princesses, these big and soft stuffed toys are perfect for snuggles. Prices start at P1,249.
From classic fairytale settings to superhero characters, each LEGO set allows you to create your own magical adventures, brick by brick, whether for play or display.
It’s a collector’s heaven! Loki’s Funko Pop (P679) is displayed at the store for Marvel fans, among other iconic characters — from Winnie the Pooh to The Incredibles, and Disney Princesses.
Everybody say, “Oh, toodles!”
You can catch Mickey’s appearance on the store’s LED screen for a few seconds!
For the fashionistas, the Mickey Mouse Poster Satchel (P2,249) is also available at the store. This iconic fashion piece is adorned with posters from Mickey Mouse’s famous movies, which includes The Band Concert (1935), Wild Waves (1929), Building a Building (1933), Ye Olden Days (1933) and Barnyard Olympics (1932).
You will also find limited edition Halloween-themed Mickey Mouse merch, such as ear headbands (starts at P949), bags, plushies, t-shirts, and other apparel, perfect for trick or treating.
The Disney store has several holiday-themed corners, depending on the season. As Christmas nears, the store also features a Mickey Mouse Christmas collection with Christmas-themed apparel, stuffed toys, and even ornaments (starts at P1,449).
