Zachary Levi Said He Wouldn't Vote For Donald Trump, Calls His Behavior 'Vulgar, Callous' & More In Resurfaced Tweets After Endorsement

Zachary Levi‘s views on Donald Trump have seemingly changed.

The 44-year-old Shazam star endorsed the 78-year-old former president for the upcoming 2024 Presidential Election over the weekend, after his first choice, Robert F Kennedy Jr, dropped out in August.

“We’re here to make sure that we are going to take back this country, we are going to make it great again, we are going to make it healthy again,” he said during an event on Saturday (September 28). “And so, I stand with Bobby, and I stand with Tulsi, and I stand with everyone else who is standing with President Trump. Because I do believe, of the two choices that we have, and we only have two, Donald Trump, President Trump is the man that can get us there. And he’s gonna get us there because he’s gonna have the backing and the support and the wisdom and the knowledge and the fight that exists in Robert Kennedy Jr. and former representative Tulsi Gabbard.”

Following his endorsement, several of Zachary‘s past tweets criticizing Trump and vowing not to vote for him resurfaced, from both the 2016 and 2020 election cycles.

“I am no fan or supporter of Trump, and I find his behavior to be vulgar, callous, narcissistic, and lacking empathy. And while I’m not a Conservative, I know many who backed 45 not because they liked him, but because he was the only candidate they felt cared about their needs,” he shared in November 2020 in response to a reply to another of his posts.

In 2016, Zachary tweeted, “But please, don’t vote for Donald Trump or Hilary Clinton. I believe with all my heart that neither actually cares about anything but power…”

In the summer of 2020, the actor noted that he doesn’t want four more years of Trump.

“I hear you. I genuinely do. I don’t want 4 more years of Trump either. But know that the stakes will only INCREASE the longer we let the status quo get elected. 2024 will only be MORE important. So if not now, then when? ????‍♂️,” he wrote in response to a since removed account.
