RANKED: Best school districts in the Capital Region for 2025
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- School and neighborhood review website Niche recently released its 2025 Best Schools and Districts rankings. The rankings include updated data for over 11,000 school districts nationwide.
To determine the rankings, Niche used ratings from current students, alumni and parents, as well as data from the U.S. Department of Education to evaluate teachers, resources, facilities, extracurricular activities, and more.
"Choosing the right school for our children can have a real ripple effect on their lives — from career path and earning potential to how they’ll contribute to society," said Luke Skurman, founder and CEO of Niche. "Our annual K-12 rankings empower families to make informed decisions and help lay a strong foundation for their children’s futures."
Here are the best schools districts in the Capital Region for 2025, according to Niche.
