Man stabbed in the foot and back in the Bronx: NYPD

KINGSBRIDGE HEIGHTS, Bronx (PIX11) -- Police are searching for a man in connection to a stabbing in the Bronx on Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened around 1:15 p.m. near University Avenue and West Kingsbridge Road.

The victim, a 49-year-old man, was stabbed in the back and foot with a metal object by an unknown individual.

EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in serious but stable condition, according to the NYPD.

The suspect fled on foot. Surveillance images show the suspect wearing a black jacket over a blue hooded sweatshirt, grey pants, and brown boots.
