Man dies after being hit by tempo in Karnataka's Karkala

A 65-year-old pedestrian, Vasanth, was fatally hit by a speeding goods tempo while crossing the road in Karkala. The incident occurred around 6.45pm. The driver, Ismail, was allegedly negligent. Vasanth succumbed to his injuries after being taken to Karkala Government Hospital. Police have registered a case.
