But his biggest reveal was his answers surrounding the sequel to Happy Gilmore.

Adam Sandler starred in the hit 1996 movie and he is set to follow it up with a sequel involving some big names and familiar faces.

Daly, 58, is one of them after he confirmed he has already taken part in filming.

He shared when fans can expect the movie to come out before putting a finger over his lips to perform a shushing gesture.

Daly told Outkick: “I’ve already filmed we’re getting it done. Coming out on Netflix maybe in March, April of next year.”

Daly will likely be one of many famous figures to have a cameo role in the blockbuster, with the likes of golf legend Tiger Woods, Bryson DeChambeau and Rory McIlroy all linked.

One sporting icon already confirmed is three-time Superbowl champion Travis Kelce.

He and his brother Jason dropped a few hints about his role in Happy Gilmore 2 by referencing quotes from the first movie while out on the golf course.

And Sandler confirmed his part, saying: “Travis has… he mentioned it, so we have a nice something for Travis.

“He’s gonna come by. He’s a very nice guy. You guys would love him in real life.

“What a big, handsome guy. Funny and cool as hell. He’s a stud and he’s so funny.”

Kelce has also been cast in the new horror series Grotesquerie.

Directed by American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy, the drama is set to land on FX this fall.

The 34-year-old will appear in the show alongside Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, and Lesley Manville.

He previously pleaded for a role in Happy Gilmore 2, suggesting he was willing to be an extra just to get around the film.

Travis Kelce The Actor

NFL star Travis Kelce recently landed his first major acting role and has a new cameo

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end plans to become a “heavyweight” figure in music and entertainment.

Kelce has seen his star power rise after going public with his girlfriend Taylor Swift last summer.

The 34-year-old has now been cast in the new horror series Grotesquerie.

Directed by American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy, the drama is set to land on FX this fall.

Kelce will appear in the show alongside Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, and Lesley Manville.

In August, Adam Sandler confirmed Travis will make a cameo in his upcoming Happy Gilmore sequel.

The news comes after Travis previously showed interest in appearing in a possible reboot.

The NFL star has risen in popularity over the past year through his public relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift, 34.

Kelce will now be part of a star-studded cast alongside the likes of Bad Bunny, Margaret Qualley, Nick Swardson and David McDonald, who returns as Shooter McGavin.

Dan Patrick also returns for the sequel and he shared some details about the upcoming movie.

He said: “He said, ‘You’re going to be behind the desk.’ So, I’m assuming that means on-site, and then I’ll be at the golf tournament.

“And I think September is when they start shooting, and it would be in New Jersey, but I don’t know where; I don’t know how many days.

“He didn’t say anything about Danettes being in the gallery as extras, which I’d like to propose. It would be kind of nice, maybe a cutaway of you guys together.

“But doing it in a subtle way, I suggest that if there is an opportunity for the Danettes, it makes it easier for me if I have to take a day off and go shoot my scene for Happy Gilmore 2.

“I don’t even know what the official title is. I did reach out to Sandman this morning (Thursday, Aug. 1) and I said, ‘Any update on the title of the movie?’ And no response.”
