‘She’s there for a free holiday’ rant fuming MAFS UK fans as they slam bride for ‘putting in zero effort’
MARRIED At First Sight UK fans have called out a bride for “using the show for a free holiday” and accused her of making “zero effort”.
On Monday night’s episode, Eve Reid left her wife Charlie Curtis in tears during yet another argument between the pair.
Tasked with writing letters to each other to open up about their relationships, Charlie was left upset when Eve revealed she hadn’t done it.
The moment marked the latest in a long line of arguments between the couple, with Eve spending next to no time with Charlie on their honeymoon, even opting to sleep in a separate room.
Eve attempted to defend herself for not writing a letter and claimed she preferred to spend quality time with Charlie, but Charlie shot back: “But you don’t, you haven’t. Stop, because you’re lying.”
A shocked Eve asked: “Are you joking me right now?”
As the row escalated, Charlie broke down in tears and furiously asked Eve to leave the apartment, leaving the future of their relationship in doubt.
The Sun revealed yesterday the pair were unable to make the relationship work. with Eve being pictured kissing her new girlfriend in Ibiza over the weekend.
But fans have already had enough of the pair and urge them to break up sooner rather than later.
Taking to X, one viewer wrote: “Eve is exhausting, why did she even apply for this show if she’s not going to participate? She’s boring me.”
Another added: “Could Eve be any more hard work. It’s exhausting watching her. Just leave and shut the door behind you.”
“Not sure why Eve even applied for the show, she’s a big gaslighter & emotional abuser,” added a third.
While a fourth questioned: “I’m behind but why exactly has Eve gone on this show? Was it just for the holiday and to live in London for a bit?”
“In my opinion, I really think Eve is trying to sabotage her way out of this. Like just leave already. You clearly don’t want to be there if you don’t even want to try” said another.
Eve and Charlie’s relationship has been one of the most fraught on the entire series so far, despite them hitting off on their wedding day.
After meeting for the first time, the pair appeared to have a great connection, even consummating their marrige.
Yet things quickly turned sour on their honeymoon with several arguments, with Eve repeatedly storming off and refusing to share a room with her new wife who urged her to communicate better.
However, they opted to stay in the experiment during the first commitment ceremony – to the confusion of viewers who urged them to call it a day.
