Ranji Trophy: Mayank Agarwal set to lead Karnataka while Prasidh charts his comeback
Indian opener Mayank Agarwal got named as Karnataka’s captain for the first two rounds of Ranji Trophy matches, while pacer Prasidh Krishna will be planning his comeback.
After the Duleep Trophy, Mayank will be eager to bring some big numbers in order to impress the selectors, and Prasidh will also need better numbers in the wicket side.
The 28-year-old has taken only 4 wickets in 2 matches in Duleep Trophy. He had failed to pick up a wicket for Rest of India in the first inning of the ongoing Irani Cup at Lucknow.

Pacer Vidwath Kaverappahowever is facing an injury, and could not find a place in the squad.
