Yashasvi Jaiswal reveals his chat with Rohit Sharma and Gautam Gambhir before IND v BAN 2nd Test

India’s youngster Yashasvi Jaiswal revealed a conversation he had with captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Gautam Gambhir before 2nd Test match between India and Bangladesh in Kanpur.

Jaiswal, who showed his full power with the bat, revealed that Rohit and Gambhir told him to play however he wanted to.

“I think I was just thinking what I can do for my team. The situation was different in Chennai, and different here. I was just trying to do what I should do for my team and was trying my best. Every innings is important. I try my best and prepare in that manner. Rohit bhai and sir told me to play the way I want to. We had a chat that we had to at least put some scores and we can play freely. Wanted to win this game and we were just going for it” said Jaiswal in post-match conference.
