I was left with ‘Frankenstein boobs’ after botched surgery -I have to stuff my bra with sponges to make them look normal
A WOMAN has revealed that she was left with “the breasts of Frankenstein”, after a botched surgery.
Esmerelda, 21, went under the knife when she was just 18 to reduce the size of her boobs, and has since had multiple procedures to try and fix them.
Esmerelda said she was left with “Frankenstein boob” after surgery[/caption] She wanted a breast reduction as she was getting back pain[/caption] She now has to stuff her bra with sponges as one boob is bigger than the other[/caption]By the time she graduated from school, Esmerelda’s boobs were already a triple D, and gave her intense back pain.
“They were too much”, she told Botched.
However, soon after the surgery, she noticed that a strange smell was emanating from underneath her shirt.
“I feel like I know what a dead body smells like now”, she revealed.
“The skin smelled like it was dying”, her mum added.
For the next six months, Esmerelda visited her surgeon up to three times a week, so that he could cut off the dead skin, and try and fix her breasts.
She said that her surgeon never told about any of the complications that could occur after the surgery, and just told her to put vaseline on her wounds.
Esmerelda now has to be extremely careful with what she wears, as her chest is covered in scars, and has to stuff her bra with sponges, as one of her boobs is now bigger than the other.
“It sucks that after the reduction I now don’t have breasts to fill up bras”, she said.
“Never in a million years did I think this was going to be the outcome.
“I feel like I don’t deserve this.”
After looking at Esmerelda’s breasts, Dr Paul Nassif said that he felt “nauseated”.
“What the hell are we going to do to fix them?” he asked.
Five signs your plastic surgeon is dodgy
- No Medical Background: The practitioner lacks any medical qualifications or background.
- Limited Training: They have only undergone minimal training, often just a one-day course.
- No Professional Association: The practitioner is not affiliated with any recognised professional body.
- Cheap Prices: They offer treatments at significantly lower prices than reputable professionals.
- No Aftercare: There is a lack of proper aftercare and follow-up support post-treatment.
“This is the worst complication from a breast reduction I’ve ever seen”, said Dr Terry Dubrow.
After six months, Esmerelda’s wounds healed, but her nipples went hard and black.
They eventually fell off, leaving her feeling distraught.
Her mother encouraged her to go to a different doctor to get a second opinion, but she said she was too embarrassed to show her breasts to anyone else.
Asked whether she had been back to her surgeon again, Esmerelda revealed that she hadn’t.
“They don’t care that I’m going through this”, she said.
“At this point I have no hope.”
