Iran strike hits Wall Street, Dow Jones drops 173 points

NEW YORK, New York - News of a missile strike on Israel by Ian punctured trading on U.S. stock markets Tuesday. While the attack was short-lived and garnered no casualties, it sparked fears of a deveoping regional war.

"The fear of contagion is always destabilizing," Keith Buchanan, senior portfolio manager at Globalt Investments told CNBC Tuesday. "Aside from, of course, the paramount impact on lives, the market
