LCA,football coach Zach Lochard part ways

Lafayette Christian Academy has parted ways with its 1st-year football coach, Zach Lochard.

The Knights are 1-3 after losing to Archbishop Shaw last Friday.

School officials say offensive coordinator Matt Standiford will assume the head coach role.

Defensive Coordinator Mitch Craft will take on the role of co-head coach.

LCA plays at Central in Baton Rouge on Friday.
