Lady Gaga Reveals How Fiancé Michael Polansky Proposed & Their Wedding Plans
Lady Gaga is finally confirming the details about fiancé Michael Polansky‘s engagement.
Two months after accidentally confirming her engagement at the Paris Olympics, the Joker: Folie à Deux star made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday (October 1).
“He proposed to me right after my birthday, so my birthday passed and I was like, ‘Oh, I thought he was going to propose,’” Gaga said.
“We went on a trip together, and we went rock climbing and we’ve been rock climbing before, which was super fun.”
When Jimmy Kimmel asked if she regularly climbed rocks, she said: “I do now. I would do anything for love.”

“I dress for safety and comfort because you’ve got to get to the top and you’ve got to go back down,” she said of her outfit at the time.
“We climbed to the top, we looked around, took so photos. And then went back down and we were just walking back to the room,” she said. “And he actually—it was very Michael—he asked me if he could ask me. He wanted to know if it was okay to propose before he proposed. And I was like, ‘Yes, it’s so okay.’”
He also skipped the tradition of getting down on one knee when he asked her to marry him.
“He didn’t, but I’m a modern lady,” she said. “I like what he did.”
As for the wedding, they’re “not exactly sure yet” what the plan is.
“We actually talk a lot of about just going to a courthouse just the two of us and just ordering Chinese food. But knowing me, also it could become a circus with unicorns,” she remarked.
