Trump’s ‘headache’ snub extends his long record of mocking military

During his debate with Ohio Sen. JD Vance on Tuesday night, Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate Gov. Tim Walz noted that Donald Trump has a history of denigrating those who served in the military. His many remarks on the subject are part of a pattern of behavior demonstrating “fickle leadership.”

Last Thursday, Trump described a 2020 attack on U.S. troops that caused over 100 cases of traumatic brain injury as merely “headaches.” Trump’s statement was a rehash of previous comments he has made about the incident.
