Arrest made in August Franklinton homicide

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- A Columbus man is facing two murder charges in connection with an August homicide in Franklinton.

William R. Jones II, 47, was indicted by a grand jury Wednesday on two murder charges and a felonious assault charge, all with a violent repeat offender specification.

Jones is accused of killing Justin T. Dahlin, 32, inside a home on the 100 block of Cypress Avenue on Aug. 16. Police said Dahlin, who was pronounced dead at the scene, died from multiple injuries.

Jones is currently being held in Franklin County jail. Online court records do not list when his next court appearance will occur.
