Utilities complete transmission line linking Iowa and Wisconsin

MADISON, Wisconsin: A high-voltage transmission line connecting Iowa and Wisconsin is now fully operational, utility companies announced this week.

The 102-mile Cardinal-Hickory Creek line, linking Iowa's Dubuque County to Wisconsin's Dane County, was completed last week, according to ITC Midwest spokesperson Rod Pritchard.
