APD asks for help identifying woman involved in two robberies across Austin
AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Austin Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a woman who was allegedly involved in two incidents of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon at different locations in Austin several days apart.
The first incident took place at Craigo's Pizza in west Austin at 5501 Balcones Drive on September 29 at around 4 p.m. APD said the woman entered the restaurant with a handgun demanding money and left with an unknown amount of cash.
Police said the same woman on October 1 just before noon, entered a Tiff's Treats in northwest Austin at 11011 Research Boulevard with a handgun and demanded money again. She was refused, and she left the store, according to APD.
APD described the woman as being around 30 years old, between 5'0" and 5'4", around 130 Ibs., having dark hair and possibly with a cast on her right arm. She was last seen wearing a white, long-sleeved shirt with a red Nike logo, black shorts and long white socks.
Anyone with information should contact APD's Robbery unit at 512-974-5092. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for any information that may lead to an arrest, APD said.
