Fans are racing to Poundland to nab ‘sweet smelling’ perfumes that are dupes for Dior’s £95 J’Adore but MILES cheaper

CASH-SAVVY beauty buffs are scrambling to Poundland after the retailer launched brand new perfumes they reckon are dupes of iconic scents.

What’s more, not only are the prices purse-friendly, selling at just £4 each, the scents are also thought to be very similar to high-end aromas we all love.

So if you’re on the lookout for cheap perfume – or are already stocking up for Christmas gifts that won’t break the bank – keep on reading.

Amongst the goodies beauty buffs have been raving over on Facebook include Poundland’s Pink Plush – a £4 version of Moschino’s Toy 2 Bubblegum, going for £43.

Another pink-themed bottle is their new Quartz – a sweet-smelling aroma shoppers say is a dupe of Paco Rabanne’s Fame.

Unlike the Poundland’s lookalike, the posh version will set you back close to a whopping £55 – meaning you’re saving yourself a staggering £50.

Meanwhile, if you love spritzing yourself with Katy Perry’s Purr, £28, but want to try out something cheaper, fans advise to check out Perfect Seduction.

The adorable black cat-themed bottle is a major win in itself – so even if you don’t enjoy the scent, you’ll have a cute little home decor piece.

Then there’s also Opulent Fizz – which is very fitting to the festive season around the corner.

Priced at a budget-friendly £4, this champagne glass-shaped perfume is believed to be an alternative to the cult favourite Dior J’Adore, £94.99.

The store has also launched something for men – or anyone who likes the more masculine notes of lavender, vanilla and lemon found in Paco Rabanne’s Phantom.

Filled inside a fun silver robot, Poundland’s Platinum Pour Homme is a more affordable dupe of the posh scent that retails for close to £70.

The purse-friendly collection, which hit the stores recently, has already taken the internet by storm, with fans rushing to Facebook to share the news.

One shopper, Nat Fergusson, took to Poundland Appreciation Society, where she wrote: ”Some fab fragrances at only £4 each!”

An ex employee on Poundland's prices

Holly Laing, 22, from Northampton, has revealed she used to work in Poundland and often heard customers say the same annoying thing.

Holly claimed she worked for Poundland in 2015 for three months as a Christmas temp.

She said that customers would get annoyed when products cost more than £1 individually.

In a comical video, Holly acted out a scenario that often occurred on her shift at the bargain store, where customers were always baffled and irritated that items could cost over £1.

Holly uploaded her video with the caption “I heard this a lot” as she said: “POV: Not everything’s £1 in Poundland”.

Holly explained that customers would often say to her: “But this is the pound shop, is it not?”

“That’s very misleading, I’ll only pay for that if it’s a pound.”

“Disgusting, what a rip off.”

The customer, who’d spotted the new additions in the Sittingbourne branch, described the aromas as ”smelling sweet”.

One fan of the store said: ”I’d love the cat one for an ornament just!”

Another agreed, writing: ”The bottles are as pretty as anything designer.”

Someone else tagger their pal, saying: ”We will have to look for these ones.”

A fourth chimed in: ”The gold bottle is meant to be jadore dior smells the same.”
