Melania Trump Seemingly Confirms She's Pro-Choice: 'Individual Feedom' Is an 'Essential Right'

Former First Lady Melania Trump is supporting a women’s right to choose in the debate over abortion rights.

This is noteworthy as her husband, former President Donald Trump, has praised the Supreme Court for overruling Roe v Wade. He has also taken credit for the decision being overturned.

The Guardian posted an excerpt that is supposedly from Melania Trump‘s upcoming memoir, which allegedly reads: “Why should anyone other than the woman herself have the power to determine what she does with her own body? A woman’s fundamental right of individual liberty, to her own life, grants her the authority to terminate her pregnancy if she wishes.” The book is hitting store shelves on October 8.

On Thursday (October 3), Melania posted a video to X, seemingly confirming that this is her stance. She said, “Individual freedom is a fundamental principle that I safeguard. Without a doubt, there is no room for compromise when it comes to this essential right that all women possess from birth: individual freedom. What does my body, my choice really mean?”
