Hisense’s Rick Calacci Announces Retirement
Rick Calacci, Vice President of Product Marketing for the Americas Region at Hisense, has announced his retirement after a distinguished 40-year career in the consumer electronics industry. Calacci’s dedication, exceptional leadership, and numerous contributions leave a lasting legacy of innovation and vision.

During his time at Hisense which began in 2021 as head of product marketing at Hisense USA, Rick Calacci played a key role in advancing the brand’s success and expansion in the region. His forward-thinking vision and creative strategies positively influenced the company’s product marketing, resulting in the successful introduction of innovative technologies and high-quality products for consumers in North and South America.
Before joining Hisense, Calacci held key positions in the consumer electronics industry, including as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing at LG Electronics for 13 years where he played an instrumental role in the introduction of OLED TVs to the US market. He also held senior roles at Sharp Electronics. He was Vice President for Sales & Marketing at Toshiba America for 18 years and served on the Board of Directors for the Consumer Technology Association.
