Raw video: NBC4's Colleen Marshall interviews Jim Jordan after rally

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- NBC4's Colleen Marshall caught up with Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan after a rally for Congressional candidate Bernie Moreno on Thursday.

The Get Out the Vote rally included Jordan as a special guest speaker. Marshall questioned Jordan after the event to ask him about the upcoming presidential election. She asked if Jordan could work with Vice President Kamala Harris if she potentially won over former President Donald Trump. Polling data shows a tight race between the pair, with the Democratic candidate holding a 4.2% lead.

But, referring to a Harris victory, Jordan said, "that's not going to happen."

"President Trump's going to win, and Bernie's gonna win Ohio," Jordan said. "It's possible, but it's not gonna happen in my judgment."

Marshall also asked Jordan about comments the former president made in December, where he said he would be a "dictator" on his first day in office. Jordan replied that Trump was joking, and discussing the "weaponization of the government against conservatives and certainly against him."

As Marshall tried to ask a final question about the upcoming documentary on the Ohio State Strauss scandal, another woman physically and verbally interrupted the interview, and Jordan exited the room.

Film crew members told the Independent in October 2023 they were in the middle of production on the feature documentary. Coming from George Clooney's production house, the film will focus on Richard Strauss, an OSU doctor who sexually abused more than 200 athletes during his employment from 1978 to 1998. The incidents came during the same time period when Jordan -- who denied having any knowledge of the abuse -- was a coach at the university.
