At this point, there are countless reasons why people love Amazon. Aside from wildly fast shipping, unbeatable prices, and major shopping events like Prime Day, the massive online retailer has one of the largest Korean beauty selections in the US. Every now and then, I’ll scroll through the beauty deals page and come across a ton of new brands and products I’ve never seen before. The latest to make its way to my cart is this lip-plumping gloss in the most stunning shade.
Brought to you by Nature Republic, the Honey Melting Lip is a sleek tinted lippie made with manuka honey, Provence rose, natural plant oils, and rosehip fruit extract. It offers ample hydration, retains moisture, and impeccable shine. It’s available in 13 beautiful shades and starts at just $8! But what really makes this product shine (next to its glossy finish, of course) is its packaging.
The Honey Melting Lip uses a click-push applicator to bring the product to the top for easy, mess-free application. If this sounds familiar to you, it’s probably because it’s similar to the viral (and pricey) Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Balm. Although the Tarte lip balm comes in twice the shades and finishes, it’s more than three times the price of the Nature Republic one. And considering they’re both so similar, it’s a no-brainer to give this one a try. They’re so similar that some shoppers think the Honey Melting Lip is “a perfect dupe for the Tarte one.” A different shopper went as far as to say, “It’s like the tarte ones but better!”
“I’m in LOVE,” another five-star review reads. “It offers slight plumping without the painful sting. It glides effortlessly, hydrates, and feels good; I recommend it!”
Our third and final shopper shared that “It’s exactly like the Tarte Maracuja lip gloss” and why they like it even more. “This one doesn’t make my lips peel and dry out. I love the Tarte applicator, but it consistently causes my lips to peel. This brand is also less sticky than Tarte. The color is light but noticeable, and it stays on my lips without clumping for a couple of hours. I’m really happy with my purchase!”
