Blue Alert issued for 33-year-old man wanted for seriously injuring officer

HALL COUNTY, Texas-- The Texas Department of Public Safety issued a Blue Alert early Friday morning for 33-year-old Seth Altman who is wanted for involvement in the killing or serious of injury of a law enforcement officer. 

Altman is described as a 6’2 white male with blue eyes, red/auburn hair, and approximately  weighs 220 lbs. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt with blue jeans, said DPS. 

DPS said Altman was last seen at the 200 block of South 4th Street in Memphis, Texas on Thursday at 11:04 p.m.

According to the Blue Alert, Altman is believed to be “armed and dangerous.” If seen, DPS asked to not approach and call 9-1-1.
