Women’s T20 WC 2024: Harmanpreet Kaur gets in an Argument with Umpire for a run-out in IND v NZ clash
In an incident during the Women’s T20 World Cup match between India and New Zealand, Amelia Kerr was recalled after being run out. Even after being visibly short of the crease, the umpires decided to call it not out.
This happened during the 14th over of NZ’s innings when Kerr and Sophie Devine tried to make runs after Suzie Bates and Georgia Plimmer.
Kerr hit a ball from Deepti Sharma to the long-off and tries to score two runs. Harmanpreet Kaur’s accurate throw resulted in Richa Ghosh, breaking the stumps before Kerr could reach her place.
even though the batter had returned back, the umpires mad a surprising decision and called her not out.
