WATCH: Gautam Gambhir Visits Maa Pitambara Temple before India vs Bangladesh T20I
Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir visited Maa Pitambara Temple in Datia on Friday and prayed before the India vs Bangladesh 1st T20I, set to be held in Gwalior.
Gambhir was wearing a traditional attire, and the temple officials honoured him.
Navratri, meaning ‘Nine Nights’ in Sanskrit, the dedicated to worship the nine avatars of Goddess Durga, known as Navdurga. Four Navratris are observed throughout the year.
Only two of the Chaitra Navratri and two of the Shardiya Navratri are celebrated for them coming in with the change of the season.
