Ben Affleck Spotted With Bold New Look Amid Jennifer Lopez Divorce

Ben Affleck is officially back on the market, pending his highly-publicized divorce from his second wife, Jennifer Lopez. And the 52-year-old was looking very much the part of a single man while recently spotted out in Santa Monica, sporting a makeover of sorts, with a freshly dyed beard.

As TMZ notes, Affleck has been partial to a salt-and-pepper look for his facial hair in recent years, though this isn't the first time he's colored his beard. In the photos, the Gone Girl actor appears smartly dressed in a professional-looking pale blue button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled slightly up, tucked into black slacks.

This isn't the first time in the months since his reported separation from Lopez that Affleck has debuted a dramatic new look.

Back in early August, amid heavy speculation that he and his wife of two years were heading for splitsville, Affleck was photographed in Los Angeles beardless, but rocking a faux-hawk hairstyle with the sides of his head shaved, a pair of aviator-style sunglasses, Red Hot Chili Peppers t-shirt, and black leather jacket. He completed the evident biker look with a pair of grey jeans and black boots.

It's unclear whether Affleck is simply experimenting with his appearance, if he's simply undergoing the frequent transformations for a role. Most recently, he was filming The Accountant 2, which began production back in March.

However, given that Affleck's character was clean shaven—and by all accounts, not a biker—in the 2016 action thriller, it seems unlikely that it's related.

The Accountant 2, which also features returning stars Jon Bernthal, J. K. Simmons, and Cynthia Addai-Robinson, be released in theaters on April 25, 2025.
