Huge blow for Peter Andre as tour tickets are slashed to just £1 and seats are left empty

PETER Andre’s upcoming tour in which he performs the songs of legendary crooner Frankie Valli has been forced to slash tickets to just £1 as multiple venues fail to sell out.

The gigs kick off in January and will see Peter, 51, perform the songbook of American crooner Frankie, 90.

Aussie singer Pete will perform the show at more than 41 venues across the UK between January and March.

But while some venues have been selling well, it seems that isn’t the case all across the country after some venues are flogging tickets for just a £1 in a bid to shift them.

Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall are advertising the usually £45 tickets for the show on January 22 as part of their £1 sale.

Fans can snap up tickets for shows that aren’t selling as well during their bargain sale this weekend. 

Other venues on ex-I’m a Celebrity star Pete’s tour also have excellent availability left despite them constantly promoting the shows via their social media accounts.

Fans can take their pick from a majority of the seats at venues in locations such St Albans and Grimsby.

While his performance at London’s Dominion Theatre in February also has plenty of tickets showing. 

It’s not all bad news though as Pete recently revealed he’s landed a huge new gig.

Writing in his column for new! magazine, he said: “I have got a part in a new Channel 5 drama as one of the lead characters, which I’m excited about.

“I can’t reveal the name of it just yet or give much away, but I start filming next month and can’t wait to get stuck in. Watch this space!”

He’s also working on new music ahead of the 30th anniversary of his hit Mysterious Girl.

Pete added: “I’ve been talking about new music for so long but I’m happy to announce that I’m finally working on an album.

“Next year will be 30 years since the release of Mysterious Girl, so the album is to mark that milestone and will be followed by a tour.”
