I’m 44 with better skin than my 20s & less wrinkles than my 30s thanks to something you’ll have in your medicine cabinet
AN ANTI-ageing whizz has shared that the secret to flawless skin in your 40s and beyond is lurking in your medicine cabinet.
Natalie Steinborn, also known as The Beauty Recluse on social media, is 44-years-old but has “better skin now than in her 20s”.
Natalie Steinborn, 44, says the secret to flawless skin is a £1.80 buy[/caption] You likely already have a pot of it lurking in your bathroom cabinet[/caption]In fact, she says she has even fewer fine lines than she did in her 30s.
Natalie did this by “using predominantly budget skincare”, she shared in a now-viral Instagram post.
One of her hero products is an everyday buy that most of us have in our bathroom cupboard – Vaseline.
“Vaseline is so underrated,” Natalie penned.
“What that stuff does for moisture loss is insane.
“Trust me and try it.
“You will be shocked at how quickly those dry, fine lines disappear.”
Vaseline is a brand of petroleum jelly, with a 50ml tub costing just £1.80 in Boots.
It is an occlusive agent, meaning it forms a protective barrier on the skin’s surface that locks in moisture.
This in turn plumps the skin, making fine lines and wrinkles less noticeable.
What’s more, Vaseline is a simple and inert product that doesn’t contain fragrances, dyes or other irritants.
You can use it safely around sensitive skin delicate areas – such as the eyes, where wrinkles tend to form.
Natalie shared some of her other anti-ageing tips – all of which don’t cost a penny.
