THE future of Michael McIntyre’s Big Show has been revealed after seven series on the BBC.
The stand-up comedy series hit our screens in 2015 on BBC One.
Series seven wrapped up earlier this year in February.
Michael McIntyre’s Big Show sees the funnyman crack jokes at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in central London.
Fans will be happy to know that the programme has been renewed for another season.
And it will be back sooner than you think – some time next year as filming will start this Autumn.
Viewers will see segments such as Send to All and The Midnight Gameshow return to the show.
Members of the audience will also be given a chance to take part, as well as famous faces who will appear on the programme.

Viewers were left gobsmacked after learning the truth about the series’ star-studded format.
Last-minute changes were recently made to an episode back in January – and fans think they know how the programme’s creators make it happen.
Episodes are pre-recorded and they aren’t filmed with any idea in mind – meaning that they are later edited when production find the best fit.
Fans realised that this was the case after TV Zone revealed that episode been edited at the last minute to fit the running order.
Taking to X(Twitter), TV Zone penned: “Yet more changes to this weekend’s #BigShow episode. This weekend’s Send To All is with Joe Lycett, not Anne-Marie as billed.”
Retweeting the news, a TV account named Super TV responded: “Have just discovered that Michael McIntyre’s #BigShow isn’t ONE same show every weekend, but actually every single show is chopped up and edited together at seemingly random?
“Why would they do that?! Michael has to wear the exact same clothes every single time he films?”
Confirming the claim, a user who was previously an audience member replied: “Yep…when I went, we had to sit through a re-recording of a star of the show from the week before due to it not being filmed correctly!’”
The show was recorded as a Christmas special in 2015, but was then given a full series.
