CBI, ED, police don't arrest people through video calls: Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre

The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre has issued a public advisory warning about 'digital arrest' scams where fraudsters impersonate law enforcement officials over video calls to extort money. Victims are urged to report such crimes via the helpline number 1930 or the website www.cybercrime.gov.in.
