Joey Essex stars in tonight’s Big Brother spin-off two months after claiming he was done with reality TV
JOEY Essex will feature in tonight’s Big Brother spin-off Late and Live – two months after insisting he was done with reality TV.
The Towie icon gets a tour around the stunning new CCTV house by none other than Selling Sunset’s Chelsea Lazkani.
The flirty and fun skit sees the pair explore the new-look home, before it opens its doors to contestants.
Joey was impressed with the luxurious digs, branding them “sick”. The pair even cosied up in one of the double beds and bounced up and down to make sure it was up to standard.
He even stepped into the large shower but was concerned by the lack pf privacy. After checking out all the rooms, he declared that he “loved it” and would “put in an offer”.
Joey and Chelsea recently appeared together in Selling Sunset on Netflix, though it was filmed before he entered the villa this summer.
Chelsea showed him around a stunning mansion in LA and viewers couldn’t help but notice sexual chemistry between them.
Brit Chelsea filed for divorce from her husband of seven years, Jeff Lazkani, earlier this year, while Joey recently split from his Love Island girlfriend Jessy Potts.
After leaving the villa, he told ITV’s This Morning: “I’m taking a huge break, you know, I feel like I’ve done every reality show possible now.
“I don’t think I really want to do Strictly. I’m just taking a break and I’ve got some opportunities over in America at the moment so I feel like I maybe might take it over there.”
News of Joey’s BB cameo has been met with a backlash from some, who feel there’s been too much of him on TV this year.
One person wrote on X: “Enough! Can I watch a programme without him popping up!!?”
Another said: “don’t want it #BBUK.’, ‘This series will be dead before it starts then.”
A third posted: “This… better be fake.”
We recently revealed how Joey is in line for a bumper payday trying his hand in the world of boxing.
Tommy Fury, rapper KSI and Jake Paul are in line to take him on in a huge marquee fight in 2025.
Also in talks is Youtube boxer Deji Olatunji.
Celebrity promoters Misfits Boxing are negotiating Joey’s first fight, which is scheduled to be in Qatar during November.
A source said: “Joey’s always been into his fitness but in recent years has become more and more passionate about boxing.
“Joey is excited about this new venture and looks forward to one day taking on the titans of the ropes.”
