Sue Radford heads back from holiday in time for daughter Katie’s baby shower as the family prepares to get even bigger
MISSING out on the excitement of her eighth daughter’s baby shower wasn’t an option for Sue Radford.
The mum-of-22 had been enjoying a weekend getaway in the family caravan before racing home for Katie’s milestone event.
The Radford family, from Morecambe, Lancs, have racked up over 535,000 followers on Instagram, where they share a glimpse into their lives.
They decided to make the most of this weekend’s dry weather with a getaway in their caravan.
The fun mini trip included bowling and a meal at a restaurant before winding down on Saturday night with a hot chocolate.
Sue took to Instagram Stories tagging her daughter Millie as she gushed about having had a “lovely day.”
On Sunday morning, she shared an update for the remainder of the weekend.
A photo showed the kids all smiling in the caravan while eating bowls of cereal.
“Breakfast time before we head home, it’s a very exciting day today because it’s @katieeradfordd baby shower,” Sue said.
Katie, 21, is expecting Sue and Noel’s 15th grandchild.
Sue revealed the baby shower was Winnie-The-Pooh themed with a snap of the party favour she received.
She held a miniature jar of honey with a dipper alongside a baby game with the Disney character illustrated.
After the baby shower, Katie also posted the party favour on her Instagram Stories in a collage alongside the cake and her posing beside a balloon arch.
She captioned the post with four blue heart emojis.
Katie announced that she was expecting a baby boy with her long-term boyfriend Connor back in May.
The couple beamed as blue smoke poured out at their gender reveal party.
“Baby Carter mummy and daddy can’t wait to meet you!” Katie said, posting a video of the action on Instagram.

Her siblings led the messages congratulating her on the announcement and expressing their happiness.
“Finally another little boy!” her sister Millie wrote.
