One in critical condition after shootout in Paterson: police
PATERSON, N.J. (PIX11) -- Two men were injured during a shootout in Paterson, New Jersey, on Saturday night, police say.
The incident happened around 11:15 p.m. near Straight Street and Park Avenue.
A 33-year-old and 28-year-old were involved in the shootout, according to the Paterson Police Department.
The 33-year-old was shot in the head and throughout his torso, police say. He was taken to St. Joseph's University Medical Center in critical condition.
The 28-year-old sustained non-life-threatening wounds, police say. He was also taken to St. Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment.
