LAST TIME – Alexei Kolosov was dialed in with a number of especially strong saves among his 20 denials on the night while playing all 60 minutes and Lehigh Valley pushed through with three goals in the second period en route to a 4-2 win against the Hershey Bears at PPL Center. Garrett Wilson had a goal and a strong power-play assist on J.R. Avon’s goal. Rhett Gardner had a pair of helpers. Brendan Furry and Matt Brown also converted.
The game featured a more familiar lineup for Lehigh Valley compared with Tuesday’s preseason opener which was comprised of mostly newcomers and tryout players.
