'What a dope!' Trump reignites war with Jimmy Kimmel

Donald Trump on Sunday reignited a feud with late-night host Jimmy Kimmel.

Trump over the weekend hosted a rally in the battleground state of Wisconsin. During his speech, the former president battled a fly on stage and made an off-hand comment that some took as a veiled threat against supporters of Vice President Kamala Harris.

After the event, Trump took to Truth Social to restart a flame war with Kimmel. In March of this year, Trump attacked Kimmel for "trying too hard" as the host of The Oscars. A month later, Trump slammed Kimmel again, this time after Kimmel mocked Truth Social.

On Sunday, Trump brought up the moment Kimmel read Trump's jabs live at the Oscars. Kimmel famously said, "Isn't it past your jail time?" in response to Trump's Oscars critique.

Trump resurfaced the Kimmel moment in a video, but left out the "jail time" joke from the clip.

"Remember this? What a dope! His wife and agent begged him not to do it, and just before BEST PICTURE AWARD, yet," Trump wrote on social media. "He suffers from TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME. All of this on top of really bad ratings for Jimmy, just like failing Bill Maher and the two clowns on CBS and NBC! NO TALENT EQUALS BAD RATINGS!!!”
