Coachella 2025: 2 Artists Reportedly Turned Down Headlining Gig

We are still a few months away from the official lineup reveal for the 2025 Coachella Music Festival!

The annual festival will take place across two weekends next year – April 11-13 and April 18-20 – and we are learning who won’t be performing.

According to a new report, two big names have been revealed to have turned down a headlining spot. Past headliners included Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, BLACKPINK, Bad Bunny, Harry Styles and Guns N’ Roses.

Bloomberg revealed on Sunday (October 6) that both Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna have reportedly turned down headlining Coachella in 2025.

Kendrick is no stranger to the desert festival as he was a headliner in 2017, while Rihanna has not headlined, she did perform at the festival the year before and in 2012.

Last month, it was announced that Kendrick will be performing the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show, which Rihanna did in 2023.
