This Morning star rushes son to A&E after he’s left crying in pain after nasty fall

A THIS Morning star has rushed her son to A&E after he was left crying in pain after a nasty fall.

Mum-of-two Ashley James took to social media to share that one of her children was off sick, and the other – her three-year-old son, was in A&E.

Ashley explained what had happened as she spoke to her fans from her home, and said: “Morning guys, quite the dramatic start to the week.

“Definitely crash landed back from a child free weekend. Little lady was up poorly in the night weren’t you?”

Ada could be seen in the shot, and Ashley gave the little one a cuddle as she went on: “She’s not at nursery today as she’s a bit poorly, aren’t you? You’ve got a bit of a temp.”

Ashley explained to fans that she has an important meeting but is taking her daughter Ada along with her.

She continued: “And then Tommy is at A&E with Alfie.

“So basically yesterday Alf fell in the playground before I got home. He loves the fireman’s pole but he basically just fell from high and he’s been complaining about his sore ankle.

“So Tommy is at A&E with Alf and the thing is with Alf is he’s quite dramatic so he really over eggs any illness or he’s always asking for ice packs and can be a bit of a drama boy.

“But he woke up this morning and still said his ankle was sore and then Tommy got him dressed and he was really crying.”

Ashley, who could be seen with a glam makeup look and a slogan T-shirt on, continued: “So that’s us for the day, Tommy at A&E and hopefully little boy is OK.

“And you’re coming with mummy to her big important meeting.”

Earlier this year, TV star Ashley opened up on the backlash she received for breastfeeding in public.

At the time, the mum-of-two had just posted a snap of herself smiling lovingly as she breastfed her daughter.

But already the trolls are wading in with vile attacks.

From comments like “attention seeker” and “put them away” to more blatant slurs, including “bimbo” and “slag”, the hate came in thick and fast.

“Since becoming a mum, there’s an amazing amount of support, but there’s also the dark side — the trolling, the judgment, the shame,” said the 36-year-old.

“And it usually comes from other women — and, sadly, other mums.”

Ashley, who also has son Alfie, three, with her advertising executive partner Tommy, regularly shares snaps and videos of herself breastfeeding on social media.

She said: “I get called attention seeking, but I have my baby, whose only way of being fed is on the boob.

“It’s not a sexual thing. If people want to judge, then they are very much the problem.”

Ashley’s mum-shaming ordeal began soon after Alfie was born in January 2021.

She recalled: “I became a mum in lockdown, so there were no classes and there were no groups.

“So I would be on my phone with my baby on the boob, talking about piles and prolapse and recovery from childbirth.

“And I’m doing that because I want male attention?”

For Ashley, negative remarks about her body are, sadly, nothing new.

The broadcaster, who lives in London, says she has been plagued with shaming and sexualised comments since developing size 30GG breasts at age 13.

The hurtful slurs continued into her twenties, and then into motherhood as she shared her breastfeeding journey with her 436,000 Instagram followers.
