H&M Home showed off the new additions to their crockery line on social media.

The High Street fashion chain launched a Speckled-Glaze homeware range, reports What’s the Jam.

It includes £7.99 bowls, £9.99 mugs, plates and jugs, and a £14.99 butter dish.

However, shoppers were quick to point out a glaring issue with the unique pattern.

The collection sports a brown speckled pattern on a white background.

H&M customers were left baffled by the unusual design.

Sharing their thoughts in the comments section, some people were quick to liken the pattern to poo.

“Plates pattern is very unfortunate,” wrote one confused Instagram user.

“My husband decorates our toilet in the exact same pattern,” said another person.

“Might as well get something to match in the kitchen.”

“Are you at Shartery Barn?” asked another unimpressed viewer.

One shopper labelled the unique crockery design “The spray collection.”

“Those are the plates that you use when you don’t want guests to return,” another person said.

One Instagrammer joked that the pattern should be called “Taco Bell restroom chic.”

Another Instagram user joked that the crockery should be renamed “The PooPoo Plates.”

2024’s Top Trending Colours for Interior Design

Homebase has revealed the official trending colours for this year.

To predict the top shades of 2024, sales data at Homebase analysed 5 colours that have surged in popularity with customers.

Copper, pink and black are predicted to be the hottest colours on Brit’s walls this year, while bathrooms are seeing a surprising rise in terracotta colour schemes.

The top five trending colours for 2024 are:

  1. Copper (+57%)
  2. Pink (+38%)
  3. Black (+34%)
  4. Green (+29%)
  5. Orange (+27%)

Copper has replaced rose gold, whilst blush is the new magnolia, and Brits are also going bold by slapping black paint all over their walls.

Green is always popular colour, but the shade ‘Fresh Herb’ – a versatile, pale grey-toned green – is hitting hundreds of customers baskets.

Meanwhile, terracotta is taking over with ‘Frosted Papaya’, a peachy orange shade dominating bathrooms.

However, not all H&M shoppers agreed with the ridicule, with some even sharing their plans to purchase the collection.

“My mother is buying it,” revealed one social media user.

“Not me, I think they are cute,” commented another H&M customer.

The collection can be found at H&M Home locations across the UK.

What’s the Jam approached H&M for a comment.
