Same LionThe mighty Torquay snapped up Lee Sharpe. I remember that because I lived in Halesowen at the time and one of my mates from the team I played for was scouted by them as well so went down there with Sharpe. I was always left to wonder why a West Midlands team (obviously Blues were in my thoughts) didn't scout him!?
Blues did - Sharpe said so himself on a podcast (Undr the cosh I think)
We let him go because we thought he was too small..
