‘Godfather of AI’ co-winner of physics Nobel

STOCKHOLM - Geoffrey Hinton — often called the “Godfather of AI” — and John Hopfield have won the 2024 Nobel Prize in Physics for discoveries and inventions that laid the foundation for machine learning.
