Glenville bridge struck again
GLENVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Glenville police chief said the Glenville Bridge was struck twice on Tuesday. The second hit closed the bridge for over an hour, police said.
The bridge, located on Glenridge Road, has been struck several times in recent years despite signage. Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara is calling on more from the state assembly to avoid low bridges.
He said in a statement: "The Glenridge Road Bridge, alone, has been hit over 30 times in recent years despite warning signs."
