Oiseau Table

Oiseau Table is a minimalist coffee table created by Paris-based designer Frederic Pellenq, represented by Kolkhoz Gallery. Frederic Pellenq established his Paris-based studio in 2016 after graduating from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris-Belleville (ENSAPB). His background includes working with designer Valentin Loellmann, which deepened his appreciation for woodworking and set him on a path toward furniture design. In 2017, Pellenq debuted his first collection, LODGE, marking the beginning of an ongoing partnership with Gallery Kolkhoze.

Since then, he has focused on creating custom and limited-edition collectible furniture and sculptural objects. His designs explore the balance of contrasting elements—ranging from oversized forms to minimalist structures, and from whimsical to refined, couture-inspired pieces. Pellenq’s work is characterized by a meticulous attention to craftsmanship, achieved through collaboration with skilled artisans. One example is the Oiseau Table, crafted from solid oak in France. Distributed by Kolkhoze Gallery, each piece is signed and numbered, further emphasizing its exclusivity.
