Man falls onto train tracks during attack at East Harlem subway station: NYPD
EAST HARLEM, Manhattan (PIX11) – A man fell onto train tracks after he was punched at an East Harlem subway station on Wednesday, according to the NYPD.
It happened at the 125th Street station around 1:20 a.m. A 52-year-old man was punched in the face, which caused him to fall onto the train roadbed, police said.
The man sustained a laceration to his lip and pain to his face, according to authorities. He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan by EMS for his injuries.
An individual is in custody, police said. It's not clear what led to the attack.
