PMO HOLDS CONSULTATIVE MEETINGS ON OPERATIONAL REVIEW OF PARASTATALS, GOVERNMENT-OWNED COMPANIES  

The Parastatals Monitoring Office (PMO) has held a consultative meeting with Kehinde Adebanwo & Co, a respected firm of external Consultants at the Secretariat, Alausa aimed at initiating discussions on the review of operational activities of some highly technical Parastatals and Government-owned companies in Lagos State.

The Permanent Secretary, Parastatals Monitoring Office, Mrs. Adetutu Ososanya (FCA), who presided over the meeting, stated that it also aims to evaluate efficiency, revenue generation, and alignment with the state’s statutory objectives. 

Emphasising the importance of the engagement, Ososanya stated that the Office is committed to improving the performance of the State’s Parastatals, stressing that consultative meeting marks the beginning of a thorough review process geared towards optimising efficiency and meeting set targets. 

According to her, the review will assess Key Performance Indicators, funding structures, past contributions, and offer recommendations for better alignment with the State’s goals. “The outcome of this process is expected to drive improvements in public service delivery and ensure more effective management of resources”,  Ososanya noted.
