How expensive is a pie and a pint at Spurs compared to Premier League clubs?
Tottenham Hotspur are famed for having some of the highest ticket prices in the Premier League, but what about the old football staples – the pint and the pie?
Tottenham Hotspur ticket prices
Despite last winning a trophy back in 2008 and having one of the largest stadiums in the Premier League, Tottenham also charge the second-highest for season tickets among the 20 top-division clubs.
The cheapest season ticket you can get in N17 will set you back £856 – only Arsenal charge more with a minimum of £1,073. For reference, four-in-a-row Premier League champions, Manchester City, sell some season tickets for just £425.
However, it seems you can get a slightly better deal on your refreshments at the state-of-the-art Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
How much is a pie and a pint at Tottenham?
Research from FlashScore (emailed to TheSpursWeb) has revealed that Tottenham offer a better deal on a pie and a pint than West Ham, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Man City.
It costs approximately £9.10 to scoff a pie and wash it down with a pint of beer at Spurs, which is just the eighth most expensive in the league.
West Ham United have the most expensive food and drink at £11.30 for a pint and a pie, while Arsenal charge £11.10, Chelsea £10.20, and Manchester City £9.30.
The Tottenham scran
It is also worth noting that since Spurs swapped White Hart Lane for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the quality of food has gone through the roof. Some of the pre-match grub you can get at Spurs now is out of this world, not to mention the sheer range of options around the stadium.
It’s just a shame the ticket pricing can’t match the value of the food.
