Capital Region restaurants supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, more than 360,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2024.
The month brings awareness to this type of cancer and provides resources to those wanting to learn about breast cancer, as well as ways to donate. For the month of October, some Capital Region restaurants are offering specials with a part of the proceeds being donated to breast cancer research.
The Shaker and Vine
The Shaker and Wine is celebrating Drink Pink October. A part of the proceeds from drinks ordered from their pink wine machines during October will be donated to breast cancer research.

Korner Bar and Grille
A part of the sales from Korner Bar and Grille's Strawberry Lemonade cocktail will be donated to the American Cancer Society for the month of October.

Innovo Kitchen
A part of the sales from Innovo Kitchen's Strawberry Lemonade cocktail will be donated to the American Cancer Society for the month of October.

Adirondack Winery
Each October, Adirondack Winery holds their annual Drink Pink fundraiser which aims to raise $20,000 for American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Saratoga Wing Off
Discover Saratoga is hosting its annual Saratoga Wing Off on October 19 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A part of the event’s proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Participating restaurants so far include:
