Around 97% youth can read, write & solve math: Report
Nearly 97% of young Indians aged 15-24 are literate and numerate, says the CAMS report by MOSPI. Rural areas report 96.7%, while urban areas show 98% literacy rates. Sikkim and Mizoram hit 100% literacy. Most youth can use mobile devices and the internet. Financial inclusion and access to improved water and sanitation are also highlighted.
