Kyle Chandler Officially Cast as Hal Jordan In 'Lanterns' Series!
Kyle Chandler is joining the DCU!
The 59-year-old actor was said to be in talks for the upcoming series Lanterns, and the news was just made official.
“Welcome to the DCU, Kyle Chandler! Now our Hal Jordan in #Lanterns,” James Gunn shared on social media.

Kyle will be starring in the upcoming DC show as Hal Jordan.
Lanterns “follows new recruit John Stewart and Lantern legend Hal Jordan, two intergalactic cops drawn into a dark, earth-based mystery as they investigate a murder in the American heartland.”
Of the series, James Gunn previously called the project “a big premiere HBO television series,” noting that “a few other lanterns” will be making appearances in the “terrestrial based TV Show.”
He adds that it is “almost like True Detective, with a couple of Green Lanterns who are space cops watching over Precinct Earth. In it, they discover a terrifying mystery that ties into our largest story of the DCU.”
