Hoda Kotb Gives Rare Update On Daughter Hope's Health Over a Year After ICU Stay

Hoda Kotb is sharing a new update on how her daughter is doing.

Early last year, the Today show host’s young daughter Hope was in the ICU following a health scare.

More recently, Hoda announced that she was leaving the morning news show to focus on her family and spend more time with her kids.

“We’re in a place where Hope is thriving. She is improving, we’re watching her, and I think that as time goes on, we’ll have a better handle on it, but we’re already seeing great differences,” Hoda shared with People. “We have really excellent care, I have people who are helping us out. I feel like she is finding steady footing.”

Since her hospitalization, Hoda has not disclosed any information on Hope‘s health, other than providing updates that she’s doing better here and there.

Hoda announced that she had adopted Hope in April 2019, joining big sister Haley Joy, who is two years older.
